A payment process describes the full life cycle of a payment within Computop Paygate and includes different payment transactions (like authentication, authorization, refund/credit, ...). Each payment process is assigned a unique PayID; analogously, each payment transaction is assigned a unique XID. Some paymethods start with PayID1 and initiate a second PayID2. E.g., Apple Pay / Google Pay are started with PayID1, but after receiving the credit card details, Computop Paygate automatically creates a new payment process (PayID2) as a credit card payment. |
